What is a donation gift card?

A donation gift card gives the possibility to donate on Beyondward using the gift card as a payment for donations. Gift cards are valid for any donation on Beyondward, e.g. to fundraisers, directly to receivers or to one of our missions.

Where can donation gift cards be used?

Donation gift cards can be used as payment for any donation on the Beyondward platform.

How can I set the value of my gift card?

When you create a gift card you can choose any value you want. You can also create multiple gift cards with different values.

For how long is the gift card valid?

By default gift cards are valid for 30 days. You can choose for how long the gift cards will be valid when you create them and choose betweeen 10 days and up to a year. We have chosen this rather short time period to encourage donations, so that the money can make impact faster.

How are the gift cards delivered?

All our gift cards are digital. When you have paid for the gift cards they are automatically delivered to you by e-mail. They are also saved to your profile on Beyondward. You can access your profile on Beyondward by signing in with your e-mail address. You will get a link for each gift card, where you can see all the details of the gift card, including the current value and expiration details, and print the gift card.

How can I send someone my gift card?

How can I use the gift card?

The gift card is used as payment for donations. Use the gift card by choosing to pay with a gift card during checkout when you donate. Enter the code of the gift card and confirm the donation.

Can gift cards be used for multiple donations?

Yes, you can make as many donations as you want using the gift card. Each time the gift card is used the donated amount is subtracted from the value of the gift card. The remaining value can be used for future donations.

How can I see the remaining value of my gift card?

You can see the remaining value on the gift card that you have received. If you have received a printed version of the gift card from someone, reach out to them and ask for the link to the gift card, or contact us with the gift card code.

Who will receive the donation made with the gift card?

All donation gift cards can be used for any donation on Beyondward. You decide where the donation go by making a donation using the gift card as payment. If the gift card is not used, or if it expires with a remaining value, a donation will automatically be made to a mission on Beyondward. The mission is decided by the person who created the gift card.

Can I see who received a donation made with a gift card?

For privacy, only the person who makes the donation can see how the gift card was used, and who received the donation.

How are donations transferred?

All donations are automatically transferred to one or many receiver through the Beyondward platform and our payment partners. When donating on Beyondward, you will always see how the donation is transferred depending on what you donate to. When does my gift card expire?

You can see the expiration date on the gift card that you have received, either on the link you have been given or on the printed gift card.

Can the expiring date of gift cards be extended?

Yes, if you or the person who received the gift card, wants to change the expiration date of the gift card after purchase, reach out to us with the gift card code and what you want the new expiration date to be.

What happens if the gift card is not used?

If the donation gift card expires unused, a donation will automatically be made to a mission on Beyondward that the creator of the gift card has decided. In that way gift cards will always make impact.

What happens with expired gift cards with remaining value?

If the gift card expires and still has a remaining value, this remaining value will automatically be donated to a mission on Beyondward that the creator of the gift card has decided. In that way gift cards will always make the full impact.
