The Beyondward platform is provided by Beyondward AB ("Beyondward", "us", "we"), a registered company with company registration number 559172-7390, VAT number SE559172739001, with registered address at Sankt Eriksgatan 57A, 11234 Stockholm, Sweden.

This privacy policy applies to all information collected through beyondward.com, Beyondward related sites, apps, communications and any other service provided by Beyondward, including, but not limited to, offsite widgets and collection of data (collectively the "Services").

When you visit our website https://www.beyondward.com, and use our Services, you trust us with your personal information. We take your privacy very seriously. In this privacy notice, we describe our privacy policy. We seek to explain to you in the clearest way possible what information we collect, how we use it and what rights you have in relation to it. Contact information. We collect your email address if you contact us, donate, buy donation gift cards or create an account.

Account data. When creating an account we collect your name, title, account type, profile image, communication preferrence and other similar data.

Login information. We collect passwords for creating your login credentials and verify your password when logging in to our Services. Please note that your password is never stored, and we only store an encrypted version of the password to be able to verify if a password attempt is correct.

Your activity. When using our Services as a member we collect information about your interactions with content on our Services, such as what you like, bookmark, repost, follow, comment or otherwise interact with. We also collect information you provide when creating content on the Services, such as initiatives, topics, ideas, conversations and feedposts.

Payment data. We collect data necessary to process your payment if you make donations, such as your payment instrument number (such as a credit card number or mobile phone number), and the security code associated with your payment instrument and in some cases your postal number. No such data is stored on any of our servers. All payment data is processed by the payment provider for the payment method you use. We only work with trusted and complient payment providers, fully certified. Please refer to respective payment provider if you should review its privacy policies and contact the payment processor directly to respond to your questions.

Receiver account information. When becoming a receiver and throughout the period when you are a receiver we collect information about your company's identity, address and contact information, including personal information about the account owner, such as identity, address and contact information, and in some cases equivalent information about the benificial owners of your company, as required to fulfill legal obligations.

All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

1.2 Automatically collected

Some information – such as IP address and/or browser and device characteristics – is collected automatically when you visit our Services.

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use or navigate our Services. We use the information we collect or receive:

  • To facilitate account creation and logon process with your Consent.
  • To send administrative information to you for Business Purposes, Legal Reasons and/or possibly for Contractual. We may use your personal information to send you product, service and new feature information and/or information about changes to our terms, conditions, and policies.
  • To fulfill and manage your donations and payments for Contractual reasons. We may use your information to fulfill and manage your donations and payments made through the Services.
  • To verify and manage Receiver accounts for Business Purposes, Contractual Reasons and Legal Reasons.
  • Deliver targeted advertising to you for our Business Purposes and/or with your Consent. We may use your information to develop and display content and advertising (and work with third-parties who do so) tailored to your interests and/or location and to measure its effectiveness.
  • Request Feedback for our Business Purposes and/or with your Consent. We may use your information to request feedback and to contact you about your use of our Services.
  • To enable user-to-user communications with your Consent. We may use your information in order to enable user-to-user communications with each user's consent.
  • For other Business Purposes. We may use your information for other Business Purposes, such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns and to evaluate and improve our Services and your experience.

Our servers are located in the EU/EEA. We use a limited number of selected external companies for storage, use and processing of your personal data, named as "Data Processors" that only processes data according to instructions from us, where they act as data processors and we act as data controllers. Our Data Processors' servers are located within EU/EEA and in the United States. We only work with Data Processors that process data within EU/EEA, or uphold the same level of privacy protection as in EU/EEA - and only use Data Processors in the United States to the extent that they participate in the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework and support the General Data Protection Legislation (GDPR).

The Services may contain advertisements from third-parties that are not affiliated with us and which may link to other websites, online services or mobile applications. 7. Information deletion

We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy unless otherwise required by law.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements). No purpose in this policy will require us keeping your personal information for longer than the period of time in which users have an account with us.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

10.1 Account Information

If you would at any time like to review or change the information in your account or terminate your account, you can:

  • Log into your profile settings and update your account.
  • Contact us using the contact information provided.

To obtain a copy of your personal information, go to your profile settings and the section "Account data and privacy" where you can download all data you have provided to us and that we have about you.

To delete the data we have about you, go to your profile settings and the section "Close account" where you can permanently close your account and all data we have about you. Please note that if you have a receiver account, you need to contact us to close your account. This is to secure that ongoing payouts, active initiatives and other parts of our Services won't be affected and to fulfill our legal requirements.

Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. However, some information may be retained in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our Terms of Service and/or comply with legal requirements.

Cookies and similar technologies: Most Web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually choose to set your browser to remove cookies and to reject cookies. Opting out of email marketing: You can unsubscribe from our marketing email list at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the emails that we send or by updating your profile settings or contacting us using the details provided below. You will then be removed from the marketing email list – however, we will still need to send you service-related emails that are necessary for the administration and use of your account.
